Hello everyone, and WELCOME!

My name is Maybell, and this is my very first post here, and I’m excited to finally start this blog.

I’ve created this space to share my tiny pieces of art — mixed media art journals, tags, mini albums, and more. While I post photos on Instagram, I wanted a place where I could write a little more about the process, the supplies I use, and the ideas that inspire me.

My style is what I like to call “soft vintage style” — muted tones with a touch of blue-grey, layered with textures, ephemera, and paper fragments. I enjoy creating small, delicate works that feel like quiet reflections of everyday life.

To begin, I’m sharing the same page I posted on Instagram today for #MixedMediaMonday. This page reminds me to “love how you love life.” It’s a simple phrase, but it captures the way I approach both art and daily living — finding joy in small details and celebrating gentle colors, layers, and textures.

Over time, I’ll use this blog to post tutorials, step-by-step photos, and supply lists, so that you can see how each piece comes together. I hope it will be a place not just to display finished work, but also to share inspiration and ideas along the way.
